“Disrupting Healthcare”

The theme this year reflects on Disrupting Healthcare with a focus on the patient (consumers), healthcare delivery, and policy. We want to highlight the innovations and advances of healthcare aiming to deliver the best health outcomes.

Through panel sessions, keynote addresses, and time for collaboration, Health Connect South looks forward to advancing our mission to serve the health community as a regional platform for health collaboration.

The program also includes networking for students and health leaders, a session on highlighting collaborations in health, and: the UnSung Hero Award and the Best Collaboration Award. For nominations, please emailmeredith.swartz@healthconnectsouth.com

Unsung Hero Award

The Health Connect South Unsung Hero Award recognizes an institution or individual that has made an immense contribution to advances in healthcare in the Southeast through forging and sustaining collaborative endeavors.  This institution or individual’s efforts have gone largely unseen but have been critical to interdisciplinary collaboration producing effective solutions to challenges and opportunities in healthcare.

HCS Collaboration Award

​The HCS Collaboration Award recognizes two or more individuals or organizations who have leveraged the HCS platform to develop partnerships and collaborations that have contributed to advances in healthcare in the Southeast. This group’s efforts have been critical to interdisciplinary collaboration, and producing effective solutions that go above and beyond a mere partnership to create a platform, product, or opportunity addressing challenges in healthcare.
