Health Connect South 2016 is almost here! There is so much to do, and many people to meet. Do not fret! Here are a few important tips that will help you make the most of your experience at #HCS2016.
Utilize “The Connector”
Once registered for any Health Connect South event, you have access to “The Connector,” the HCS online dashboard that features discussions, a detailed contact log of each attendee, and a calendar for scheduling your HCS2016 experience. It is advantageous to map out the day of the event using The Connector. It allows you to create a personalized itinerary in preparation. Every keynote, break, and session can be easily scheduled and then referenced throughout the day.
Make the most of the extended networking break
From 1:05-1:45 there will be an extended break providing time to network. This timeslot highlights what HCS is all about: meeting your next collaboration partner. HCS is an interdisciplinary event and guarantees insight into the whole of the healthcare community in order to envision the future and deliver value. Make sure to shake hands with the people you would like to meet, and promise to connect post conference to allow time to meet others.
You must first engage the community in order to create partnerships that will further the field. Be involved during the extended networking break and build an indispensable network!
